Flintshire

When I buy ready meals or similar, the heating instructions often state that the ready meal should be heated "until it is piping hot".

But what exactly is "piping hot"?

I believe that means when it's fully steaming.

It leaves blisters in your mouth when you bite into it.

Walking down the only road I've ever known!

Have you ever bought a pie in a football ground, that's piping hot when it keeps your hands warm for 90 minutes

But how does that compare with a maccie d coffee?

Maccie d coffee is decent. Apart from the flat white which is about as hot as my sex life.

If it scalds your palate then it's piping hot. I often say that I enjoy my cafetière "piping hot".

They don’t make that scalding black tar coffee anymore. Not after the “grandma incident” 😳

To be fair, yesterday, a maccie d white coffee still burned my mouth 5 minutes after I'd finished scoffing the double quarter pounder AND the stone cold large fries.
