Maybe you could start by thinking about your interests and finding groups related to those interests to attend where you could meet like-minded people?

The solution starts with you, no one else

You need to get your head into a situation where you start to make small changes

I can tell you one thing, as horny as it can be, fucking people to feel wanted or is damaging

It doesn't offer long term self worth or validation

Been there

Got a whole rack of t-shirts

I'm so sorry to hear someone feeling like that. I'd like to reply with something meaningful and uplifting, but I feel I need to ask more questions first.

In what respect do you feel the most lonely? Physical? Emotional? Connection?

How's your social life?

Aside for feeling lonely, how happy are you with your life right now?

If you can become less lonely, without needing to be in a relationship, then that might be the easier challenge. For many, it's a bigger challenge to find someone who is physically and mentally right for them.

Volunteering is something that many here do and typically find it extremely rewarding. You have control over what you might volunteer to do and some types involve good social contact with others, either other volunteers or people who you may help out. You may find a lot of people who are lonely and who would cherish your compassion, understanding and company. Often there's training and supervisionz so you'd not be on your own

Make the most of any social situations that are on offer. Joining clubs, teams, classes, etc... they are great ways to expand your social circles.
