Well i went for the first part of my root canal treatment today, not sure why i was worried, it all went very smoothly. The numbness is starting to wear of and ive got a slight discomfort rather than pain but with all the poking about i guess thats to be expected.
I go back in two weeks and im not worried in the least.
So if you have to have it done, dont worry its completely painless |

I'm not good with dentists, never have been.
I went recently for a check up as I have a broken tooth (broke in November!).
I ended up going back to see hygienist for a deep cleanse. Now got appointment to have broken tooth removed under sedation!
Couldn't face the root canal treatment.

Ive got a broken tooth nearly whole thing and most of filling has gone dentist said I need root canal and repair of tooth going to be £200plus, nearly half my wages and he cant guarantee it will last either or how long it would last. didnt fancy root canal and paying half wages for it not to work only to have to have tooth out anyway. Am keeping tooth till it becomes too painful again but worried about having it out because its in a bit near the front will affect smile. vanity I know |

Last time I needed root canal treatment the buggers took my tooth out, painless it was not, but I'm 'ard and took it like a man (with 500mg profen). I looked like a gapped tooth gypsy for two weeks and it was a front one!!! Now I have a screwed in jobby with gripfill to hold it in...I'm so sexy now aren't I

Had a tooth out in January instead of having root canal treatment, thought it would be less painful. Went dentist yesterday to have moulds taken for dentures.
Having no calcium & vitamin D, with taking 70 tablets a day, has wrecked my back teeth |

Told you you would be fine. A good dentist should make it a breeze. You hear the horror stories but that is usually down to the lack of care from the professional involved. |
