I was shocked to hear the news that he have passed away today, did you also hear about it?
He said in january that he had "best case a year" to live after being diagnosed with cancer.
He also said that he hopes to be remembered as "a positive guy, trying to do everything he could do" r.i.p |

Very sad - back in the days of Football Italia on Channel 4, his Sampdoria team with Gullit, Mancini and Attilio Lombardo was a brilliant watch.
Saw one of his last public appearances at Anfield for an LFC Legends match and he received a very moving ovation. |
