Group against time wasters

I am trying to see a better way of verifying meets. If fab do nothing then maybe a third party verification app cross site might work as people who don't turn up to meets and mess people around have no comeback here but there should be a way. Anyone want to help message me |

Nope. It’s a nice idea, OP, but it’s too open to abuse. Someone who is snubbed may decide to use the other app/method/whatever to say that person/couple is a timewaster and doesn’t turn up.
And there are people who will genuinely be unable to turn up because of an unexpected life event. It’s disappointing, maybe even annoying, but they’re not timewasters. |

It's simple you can both agree a meet with a relative geo tag and a check in this will be private. Both can agree to break the meet and both need to agree a meet and the timewaster can make an excuse.
So you have a clear record if they agreed to meet and if the meet happened.
It's pretty simple once it twice the person may have a legitimate excuse but like verified buyer reviews the rubbish tends to attract rubbish feedback and the good good. |

There is lots of ability to vet on here. You use your judgement about people. You arrange meets in a low cost way (local pub for a drink at first).
People give off plenty of clues if they're being sketchy. |

Ok I will. It's what eccomerce have been going for years how can you trust A seller is going to send you the item at least if they don't you can review them here there is no way to mention if they didn't turn up and anyone naming anyone even if they threatened your let alone just didn't turn up. Mainly as even timewasters pay for premium on here |

You can do your own personal vetting procedures OP. It’s not for the site to do it for you.
Verifications in person just mean the person is real, not that they will definitely turn up or anything else.

The only way there's no vetting system on this site is if you a) agree to meet without having exercised judgement about the person, or b) you're exceptionally bad at exercising judgement.

Ok maybe your idea of 2 hrs is cheap or however long it takes to get ready to go to a pub but that's 2hrs of my life gone to me that's priceless |

The biggest problem with common sense is that it isn't common.
This is like one of those life hack suggestions where you take an extremely simple and straightforward process and make it as complicated as you can before showing the tiktok generation how they should be doing it.

We tend not to use FAB for 121 meets, it's great for other meets and swinging information but we see it now as a generic social media site where I can flash my lady bits.
The sites with no chat, no forum and very basic tends not to attract the timewater or dreamer as there's nothing for them to gain and nowhere to pontificate.
Also, check profiles against forum posts, it's a guideline but we have met very vocal forumites who are not so chatty in real meets.
See FAB as 75% timewasters for real world meets, do your due diligence and its great.
Have fun, there are great people on this site but lots of strange ones too, but the really strange ones don't venture out too much as they may have to speak to a real person.

Time wasters are not the problem, the people who give them their time are, here’s an idea, might sound strange at first but just go with it. Instead of talking/sending your dick to anything with women on their profile, make sure the person you’re talking to is actually real.

This is why I would never have a social meet unless I'm happy to be there by myself. Coffee shops, pubs are fine. Would be happy to meet up at a club for a social. If it's a no show then I'll have the afternoon or evening to myself. If I was in a restaurant then I'd treat myself to 3 courses rather than just mains and a desert.
I've seen people post on their status the names of time wasters. My time is not wasted if I'm happy to be by myself somewhere. |

You have the right idea here,
Always have a social somewhere you could be going anyway, ie for a coffee in your lunch or after work.
That way you're not having your time wasted by those who don't show up.
When I was meeting, I had a few meets for a cuppa, near where I would have been anyway.If I do in future ill meet somewhere that's convenient to me and take a book, so if they don't show I'm still happy with a coffee and something to read. |

Fab has a vetting system, as well as lots of tools to help to make your selection filtering easier.
Report all no shows and inappropriate behaviour to Admin. They investigate every report.
If you're getting multiple repeats of the same issue, it sounds like you're potentially not using the site tools as effectively as you could as well as needing to refine how you are picking people.
Lots of tips in the forum for help.
A closed group sounds like less fun and unlikely to get enough people very well matched, apart from being victims of poor results. |
