are the things that mean so much.
EG - i went out today and did some shopping - got flowers, choccies, biscuits etc as well as the stuff i actually DID need.
Well as i was in the area i decided to visit a work place when i did a locum for a mionth - gave them a pack of chocolate biccies.
Had a great catch up chat and a cuppa tea and they loved the fact that i had gone round to visit.
THEN i went round to my old work - took another box of choccie biccies and as i was making everyne a cuppa tea - one of the men i used to work with there too also turned up - was like a mini renunion, and they LOVED it.
When i got home, i unpacked the car, booze for xmas day, veggies, presents, blah blah.
Also was left with one bunch of flowers.
No point us keeping em, all away.
No one i will be seeing tomo.
SO i took em round to my elderly neighbours and knocked on their door, they were elated and asked me in for a cuppa tea.
OK - i had to listen to all their old stories - but FFS, i have lived next door to them for over a year and we have never had a cuppa tea together. Now if thats not an ice breaker then what is???? She even warmed up some of her home made mince pies for me.
Now call me sad - but that was the nicest visit i made all day, and all for a £3 bunch of flowers.

Thats the most xmassy thing I have heard in ages, well done Debs,
ps, when I tell my mates about it is it OK if I tell them you were wearing a mini " mrs santa " outfit with thigh high red boots at the time ??  |

Even promised the poor overworked lad on the check out that when i drive up North and get snow that i would throw a snow ball for him!!!!
