I had something similar. An Italian couple used to have this little cafe close-ish to where I lived. They would make everything in house, lemonade, bruschetta with tomatoes grown in their allotment, homemade Gelato too. Still the best ice cream I’ve had. Pure bliss.

I'm diabetic too. It's okay to have it as a very occasional treat, as long as it's included in your daily carb quota. Or, as was the case for me, when I was away a couple of weeks ago... my gorgeous man went out and bought me an Almond Croissant and Cappuccino back to the hotel room for breakfast... and then we went out walking the sights of London before my glucose levels had a chance of spiking. It's all about planning! 😊 |

Unfortunately it’s no longer around. It used to be in Surbiton. I went back there after COVID and it looked like it had been gone for a while. |
