My parents were quite strict on what I watched but got some reason I was allowed to watch this, probably because my dad was a milkman and was fast asleep in the armchair when this was on.
Mrs Slocombe, loved her, I swear that's where I get my ever changing hair colour from!
Let's not talk about birds of a feather, my dad happened to be awake once when it was on and banned me from watching it because of the language. Fuck him 😂 |

Random bit of useless information. It was based on Ricemans dept store when it was in London . My uncle worked in the men’s tailor depot and he was often taken to the studio to be in the background to make it look more convincing 🫡 |
