"I have been rewatching The X Files right from the start, I had forgotten how much I loved it!"
The best. I rewatch all of it at least yearly. It's such a comfort place. |

From - suspense, horror, survival. 2 seasons now, season 3 later this month.
Last kingdom - Vikings in Britain
Blue eyed samurai - compelling and epic adult animation.
Foundation - epic sci fi based on the novels by Asimov. 2 seasons and s3 comes next year |

I like shorter ones you can complete in a 1-2 days of binging when you a day or two free and then not watch TV again for a month or 2 !
Severance, Dark matter, presumed innocent , lady in the lake. All good. |

Not familiar with that one but it sounds like it's right up my alley. Thanks for the rec. Xx |

The standalone episodes were great. The mythology ones, I found a total mess.
Colditz is on Youtube and worth a watch, as is Big Bread Winner Hogg.

I agree with this I have just watched the Cops cross over episode they did it was brilliant so funny, it is the alien take over episodes I'm struggling with I remember that from when I first watched them. I'll have a look for the other series you have mentioned, thanks. |

Slow Horses on Apple TV, already mentioned above but best thing I have seen in ages. Admittedly I think Gary Oldman is the main reason.
Derry Girls for comedy, has everything a great comedy series should have in its locker, great cast, element of nostalgia if you remember when it was set, characters that are funny but relatable, emotional hits that are unexpected and the obvious one a great writer. It’s not Father Ted but it’s certainly up there with Irish comedy.

Ones that haven't been mentioned...
It's Always Sunny
Parks and Rec
Thick of It
Inside No 9 (some episodes are a bit more on the miss side than hit but it's a great little anthology)
The IT Crowd
Schitt's Creek.

The Expanse (Amazon Prime) - hard sci-fi, conspiracy/action/military thriller with great characters and space sequences.
Vikings (Amazon Prime) - not historically accurate telling of the age of the Vikings with skme great characters and action.
House of the Dragon (Sky Atlantic/HBO Max/Amazon Prime) - Game of Thrones prequel, season 1 & 2 covering the start of the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.
Clarkesons Farm (Amazon Prime) - love or hate him this is a great series and has done more for farming than anything else. Funby and sad in equal measures.
Still Game (BBC iPlayer) - Scottish comedy, think of Last of the Summer Wine but funny and with swearing.
Strange New Worlds (Amazon Prime) - the best of the recent Star Trek shows telling the stories of the years Captain Pike was in the center seat of the Enterprise. |
