I don't know if it really counts but there's a nature reserve on Ashdown forest with a seat at the top of a hill under some pine trees. It looks down onto a small valley where a huge oak tree stands and cattle lay under it on hot days, ponies often graze there too. It's so peaceful and good for the soul |

God's own junkyard in Walthamstow is a warehouse of old neon signs. Its free to enter and has a cafe. Its housed in a little hub with a few brewery's and a Ginhouse (last time I was round there anyways) and you can check out the Walthamstow chip shop Bansky while you're there. |

Guess it’s kinder scout in the dark peak if that counts as one.
There’s so many different routes to explore it and it’s so diverse across the seasons. Great memories of walks, runs, cycles & wild-camps & people some no longer alive over the last 40 years. |

"Blind Beggar pub. Usually means I am about to commence on a liver busting pub crawl to Soho."
If you pay cash there you get stickers on your pound coins saying the blind begger. |

"You can tell a lot by a place from how many barbers they have.
Such as?
Well mainly how good a hair cut the population will have. "
Many a barber in my neck of the woods. |
