I think the most faulty and basic AI in the world would hold a more convincing and interesting conversation than most.
At least for the first hour or so. If it was a female profile and learned from what it received it would quickly be utterly inseparable from the rest. |

It already has learned.
Go on u tube and look at a recent video uploaded by a guy called asmondgold. Think it was titled humanity is doomed or some such and he reacts to the new AI "girlfriends" videos that have been released.
I could not have told the difference. They look as real as anyone here.
Most of us (and i say this nicely) have no understanding of how fast AI is learning. What it could do a year ago compared to now.
In essence (though no one realises it yet) a photo veri is meaningless now (as you'll see in the video) and even a video may be meaningless now.
And very soon, if not already for people with really high end PCs, even a cam veri won't mean anything.
Hate to sound Doom and gloom about it and im not implying nor assuming Fab will be filled with fakes but it but it's a reality people have to accept is already possible. It's only the regulated AIs that seem to be obvious about being AI. The new unregulated one...yikes. Scary stuff in the wrong hands.

A give away is posting a statement of fact followed by a question mark or three. Example:

I'd struggle to tell the difference as the quality of many profile texts isn't hard to match or beat for an AI system. Photos are also produced at amazing quality. I'm assuming that the spoken voice quality might fool me. Some parents have been fooled by AI replica voices of their children, enough to send money. |

I think you’re fundamentally not understanding what AI actually does, given how trash like the BBC and the Daily Mail report it.
AI requires a human input to generate a response.
The said AI can then use the information it has gathered to then determine what it thinks will be the most appropriate and accurate response.
