I thought we could all do with more info about any of the popular city destinations. Add anything that might help, like where to stay such as hotels, airbnb or b&bs, where to eat, what clubs, bars and other venues might you know off and generally what to do when there that other fab members will appreciate knowing. Let's share tips and information. Also posters can ask specific but relevant questions.

Stalybridge

I always enjoy a potter round St Stephens Green followed by afternoon tea at The Shelbourne

A trip out on the train to Howth is worth it too

Birmingham

For those that have never been, the Dublin bus tour is worth doing.

And if you like a drink heard the Guinness tour is worth it.

Dubai & Nottingham

I’ve only been once stayed in a hostel near temple bar, I think I spent most of my 48 hours in Temple bar with random friendly female backpackers! Did the Guinness factory and some Irish dancing show thingy. It’s got a real nice cosmo vibe , Everyone’s d*unk but it feels very safe compared to the UK cities & very much feels like Europe, which of course it is!

Shows the change in time. When I grew up in Dublin Temple Bar was a no go area until they revitalised it
