Sainsbos ftw! I cut 35% off my monthly grocery bill by not being influenced into snap purchases in the shop. Worth the delivery cost IMHO and I've usually had OK dates on most things. Substitutions can be... Creative. Asked for spring onions once. Got daffodils. |

Did picking for home deliveries in Sainsbury’s at the start of lockdown. You had a set time to pick everything and unfortunately you where tied to the suggestions. You had a list of maybe 10 things you could use as an alternative and they ranged from helpful to useless. It all depended on what stock was already on the shelf at that time unfortunately |

I thank you for your service! 😂 Generally the subs are OK. In the scheme of things, it's never the end of the world. More important things to worry about than quinoa vs Bulgur wheat or whatever. Just sometimes they made me laugh! |

I remember subbing Tunnocks teacakes for Wagon Wheels once and thinking how annoyed I'd be if that was me 😄 |

Gone and completely forgotten. |
"Do you do home delivery for your shipping and if so which one you use?"
I don't. I prefer to choose my own produce, and not get landed with the dregs.
I hand enough years of suppliers trying that one on in my pro kitchens.
Hey, that means I am (was) a professional male! |
