Non Fab Friends and Fab

Somewhere out there

My questions to ye all is.....

If a non fab friend wanted to meet you on a specific day, would you lie to them and say you're doing something else, like you have to work or something but secretly you're meeting up with a fab girl/guy for some debauchery or just meeting for a coffee/lunch?

Would you then tell them the truth and spill the beans about fab or would you tell the truth without giving away the details and say you're meeting up with a fwb and leave fab out of it?

What excuse do you give when going to socials and you're away for a full weekend!!?

Sorry for all the questions but curiosity got the better of me!!!

Separate both worlds. Nothing to gain in telling them.

I don’t give any excuses, if I’m busy I’m busy and that’s all anyone needs to know.

this, and if they've the cheek to ask why, I've the cheek not to tell them.

I just say to them ive already got plans. Then ask if we can do something another day.

Never go into detail of why I can't.

I don't discuss my sex life with anyone I'm not having sex with.

I've never once had a conversation with a non fab friend or colleague about anything sex related because it's none of their business just as their sex life isn't any of mine.

I don't go away for fab weekends and rarely go to socials.

Well some of my close friends know i have some fwbs, and know i see them so they will assume any plans are with them without an explanation. Althpugh my friends dont k ow about fab. They think i still meet guys on tinder.

I tell my mum im meeting up with a friend, although i know wshe suspects we dont talk about it. Also tell the ex im going out with mum firends without the kids if he asks what im doing with my child free weekend. As i keep everything away from thr kids so its none of his business.

I’m busy, I already have plans. That’s all I’d need to say really.

It’s not a lie and they don’t need to know the details either.

I just say sorry I'm busy.

Meeting friends, going to parties or just 'going away for the weekend'. None of my non fab friends are nosy enough to ask for details, which is good, the same as I don't quiz them.on what they're up to.

If anything, I get more questions from Fab friends than anyone else. Swingers do sometimes like to know what other swingers are doing more than they possibly deserve to. 🤔🤦‍♂️😂😂

They wouldn't be told anything, just say you're busy and that's it.

No. The international symbol for dogging is something completely different. It's a wanker sign with the other hand winding down a window.

Or something like that

I wouldn't say I'm on fab but would say I have plans.

I've a relatively wide social circle (that's what she said) so it wouldn't occasion any comment.

I would just say I'm busy. I'm not telling anyone I swing without a good reason....like taking them to a club.

I did drop a line to someone at work once, she said yes. Its the only time I asked, no problem on that occasion but I imagine there could be.

I have other plans that day is a perfectly valid answer.

Generally if someone asks what I'm up to directly I will just tell them though. People in my life know that I don't care for being secretive 💜

Depends on the friend. Some of them know I'm on fab, and those I don't get told I'm meeting a friend from my ND Facebook group (which I don't actually belong to...)

No point it to telling the truth as it will always come back and bite you in the bum one way or another

If one of my friends can't meet me on a specific date I just suggest another. The same goes for them. I don't tell my friends every detail of my life though, they wouldn't really be interested

Only friends I have are fully aware of my fab life, towards the end of my "active" days, I was only seeing one person regularly and never interfered with seeing my friends x

I don’t tell people details. Most people know that I’m poly and I swing.

Apparently at work there’s a general understanding to not ask what I got up to on my time off 😂

I met two female ex colleagues for a meal Monday evening, one bought her new boyfriend along to meet the other girl and me.

I was late and when asked by the single girl what kept me I simply said "fornication". The new boyfriend looked confused and asked did he hear me right? To which the two girls said "Yes" in unison whilst smiling. Nothing more was said. They know about my lifestyle.

I'd just say I'm meeting a friend, I'm not lying but I don't need to go into specifics.

I don't tell my friends when I plan a sexy night away with the husband, I just saw we are having a date night - who needs that much detail?

That's true!! Just because they ask questions, it doesn't mean you have to give them any details!!
