Live in Scotland Play in England

What does it take for someone to be struck off your 'list' of those you positively know you want to meet?

For me, if I've agreed to meet someone who then doesn't follow thru on finalising arrangements then it's usually one chance and they're out.

How ruthless or not are you?

Not the North West...

I'm not bothered if we have to rearrange, life happens.

I can be put off for good with them doing certain things beforehand, but I'm not saying what.

I'm going to make an educated guess that kicking a puppy in the face would probably do it.

Wait, someone kicking a puppy in the face wouldn't necessarily rule them out for you? Damn. XD

People only get 8 or 9 chances with me. After that they’re on the list of people who only get another few chances. But if they breach that - wow. Big steps. They get ignored until they message again.

I'd say I'm fairly easy going but simple things can put me off easily. Like certain words being used, unironically.

Or behaviour. Forum posts.

I'm really easy going though.

It takes about 2 years to get on a list so it’s then quite a lot to then be removed

It generally takes a lot, but there are certain world views that would immediately put someone on my no-way list.

For me, it's if they go overboard on the compliments. I don't receive them well and not a massive fan of constant love-bombing before we've even met.

I'm usually quite forgiving on stuff like that, partly because I'm rubbish at myself. I think it's actually the opposite feeling for me - people being a bit *too* keen too quickly. Also if someone says something that I find quite objectionable.

If they mention crocs or I spot crocs in the background of a picture or they type something that reminds me of crocs.

Definitely this. Super keen at the weekend, arrange a day in the week, not heard anything since Monday... Struck off.

Agree here, sometimes posts show you that the person is not someone you would enjoy spending time with, and they wouldn’t enjoy you either.

Things come up for people, stuff happens. However, if stuff continues to happen or come up, I lose confidence in them and might leave it a few months before seeing how things are with them. If they still prove problematical, then that's it.
