If you block someone, does the verification your wrote for them disappear or does it still stand?

Strange question I know but I think someone lying about being a female!!!

Blocking makes the text of the verification go away. But you stay on the tally.

So if I verified you and wrote "this is a lovely lady", that would disappear, but the fact I verified you would still add one female verification to your summary.

I don't believe they disappear unless you close your account, but no doubt someone in the know can confirm for sure if blocking has the same effect.

If you block, you won't be able to see their profile to know if it's disappeared!

It a bit complicated…. A male I’m talking to, he wrote a verification (without meeting her!!!!)

for a female we both have been chatting to. I have suspect the female is actually male. And I expressed my thoughts to him, he agreed and blocked her. Now I’ve noticed his verification has disappeared.

I don’t know if they are both lying …. Or are they actually the same person ?

Im just curious!

Verifications disappear from a profile when you block someone.

It states in the verification rules that you should only verify someone when you have met or seen them on cam and are 100% satisfied that they are the gender stated on their profile.

Leaving fake verifications helps nobody and you run the risk of getting banned yourself if caught doing so.

Report the profile in question and admin will look into it.
