Had someone from this site … I might name later was coming to meet me today …asked me to pay for their train fare, kept saying I’m on the way I’m on the way and then has gone cold. I think I’ve been used just to buy a train ticket I may have to share the details because I don’t think it’s fair if it happens to other guys on here too.
Anyone had at the same? |

I certainly wouldn’t allow it to happen.

You cannot name and shame or you’ll get a ban
Yes it’s super frustrating for you
But naming and shaming can lead to vindictive people saying “don’t meet x they don’t turn up”

They showed me a ticket they bought their trip down and asked me to pay for the trip back. Their ticket looked real so I thought fair enough. I’ll pay for the ticket back.

It's a lesson learnt unfortunately, never send money to someone you don't know. If she said I can't afford it then go to her! |

They showed me they bought a ticket to London so I thought it was fair to pay the ticket back home again silly me Wright I didn’t give

Ok it is possible to get your card details from QR code but they would need to be very good! I will also assume they have your number, email? How did you send it? |

I had a lad the other was chatty at first then very freely admitted he was available for an exchange of money ...
Also guys ..mature ones beware there are quite a few guys from Ukraine appearing on here that will ask you to go off site onto private email and then after a decent amount of time the request for money comes ..usually at present the aim is to avoid being forced to join up and needing to pay a bribe ...
Its fun playing them along if you are savvy but incan easily see some guys paying money over ...
I have forwarded details to admin when they have appeared and they swiftly remove them ...

Asking for expenses is against site rules. You've done the right thing by reporting.
You aren't the first to be caught out like this and won't be the last, people can seem very plausible.
It's a lesson learned the hard way and you're a little wiser now
