No this isn't a thread about time wasters on here but wasting time in vanillaland.
Its something that really grates on me, wasting time. Be it 10 minutes or longer, I hate my time being wasted.
I've been sat in a house waiting to start my lesson for 10 minutes now and the kid is still not ready! That's a 6th of my lesson gone on her arsing around!!! Arghhh
Does anyone else get infuriated by having their time wasted? Please lets not turn this into a timewasters on here thread! |

I would rather be 10 minutes early than 5 minutes late.
Some years ago I used to travel regularly to meeting in Milton Keynes, I was always the first to arrive, yet had the longest journey of anyone else.
I would either travel by car or train and would always catch a train that got me there far too early in case it was delayed. In 11 years I was never late once for a meeting. |

I work on an appointment basis and i get people turning up 10-40 mins late but still expect to be seen and then it knocks the rest of my appointments out, so im playing catch up all day would they turn up to the dentist or doctors that late and still expect to be seen |

Oh the child knows the lesson will be cut short. Otherwise I'm late. Yes I'm paid anyway but it just infuriates me.
I'm always early for appointments and will apologise for being even 3 minutes late! |

"Tut tut. I bet you would give the lass detention if you found HER with a mobile phone out during lessons. "
Not at all, I allow the kids I tutor to reply to messages and even take quick phone calls as I do the same. I would never do something or expect them to do something I wouldn't myself. |
