Someone addresses you by your name, in/during conversation? Normal, non-fab conversation?
Or how about in the bedroom (or wherever your play preferences take you) is it a turn on to hear your name or no thanks? |

Prefer my real name in real life unless there teasing me,
I don't think tootuspootus works in the bedroom though |

On fab no!! I made the mistake of telling one guy years ago and he still calls me by it in messages and I don't know why but it really bothers me.
In normal life it's fine, I just don't like guys off here knowing and using it. |

It's situational.
There's a handful of people I feel comfortable hearing them use my real name. And if that's during sex, used the right way? I melt.
Most people from here call me Meli and I'm fine with that. |

"I actually love my name being used in the bedroom. At least I know I'm not a number and it's me they are thinking if lol "
Yeah i don't think they should ever be mixed, unless your into some weird fabbing roleplay. |

I'm a bit funny about this. In a previous customer facing job I had to wear a name badge, and if a stranger used it when addressing me it felt like a mini violation. I didn't know their name and it felt like they had power over me. That probably sounds insane
If someone I'm very familiar with uses my real name it's fine, so long as they're not one of those types who uses it in every sentence. I find that a bit odd.
If someone I'm very intimate with uses my name in bed it feels utterly amazing.

Most people we've met from here don't know my real name. It's really unusual so that's a privacy thing for me. I'm happy to be addressed as Mrs KC or KC at socials. If it comes to the Sex, I'll be on first-name trust terms so hopefully they won't call me that during sex

In a professional work environment I prefer my title and last name.
However I have worked in places where everyone used their first name, and that felt too informal for me. I did not like it one bit.
.
In the bedroom, I don't like any name being used. The only time I get called a name in the bedroom is when I have "earned one" by a play partner. That comes over over time.
I don't demand titles from new submissives, I'm not that sort of dom. |

Not insane at all... I hate when people address me by my first name without asking.
But when the right person whispers it... |

In my previous job they changed things and had our names showing as first names instead of the usual surname. I hated it, luckily it was soon reverted back to surnames.
If someone uses it in conversation I quite like it. I love it being used in the bedroom, just makes me for some reason |

Oh I missed the bit about work. First names at work, from everyone. I do like being called "Professor" but it's not accurate
I've learned to respond to most things at work (from the non-staff quotient). Sir. Miss. Ma'am. Professor. Teacher. Mrs X. [Name]. I get it all
I don't LIKE being called Mrs X professionally. |

Outside of fab I find it very strange for people not to use my name - only a couple of ppl on her know it and when we meet socially I’m happy for it to be used - had a fwb on here for many years who never used my name socially / in messages or during sex. I actually found it quite rude and offensive in the end it became a self worth thing |

Completely understand this. It feels like they're violating you or holding it over you when they use it, as on here that is very personal information. I try not to let my real name out the bag on here.
In real life if someone uses my real name in conversation it's fine. |

I had a cpls meet a few years ago with an ex fwb. I'd completely forgotten I hadn't said my real name, so the guy kept using my Fab name (a different one). Totally threw me, and it felt too late at that stage to make the correction |

On a personal level I like it when people use my name , work contacts using it is just a formality . Most of my friends use variations of it , I’ve had many nicknames !
Being used intimately I feel really quite warming . |
