A random Sunday evening thought.
I've rarely looked at fab videos on people's profiles but in the last few weeks I've taken interest and viewed quite a few.
I've clicked on numerous profiles I've never seen before through the new pics and videos section and came to an interesting conclusion.
There are many many profiles with lots of pics but not a single video and I wondered why this might be?
Is it that pics are more easily cropped and adjusted to present the best of us or do people just feel less comfortable with videos?
The other thing I noticed is that for those who have multiple videos, there is little or no variety on many profiles and they are almost all exactly the same.
Some people have 30 videos of their face blowing kisses while others have 40 close-ups of their nether regions.
So as the title says if you don't have videos, why not and if you do, why so many of the same? |

I think videos are viewed less than photos so there’s less ‘incentive’ to post them. As for the repetitious pics and videos that suggests the user is posting them to get attention on their profile as the objective, rather than to give more idea of what they’re like (or maybe they’re just boring and lack imagination but let’s be optimistic). |

I don’t want to show my face in a video for privacy reasons. I have done non face videos before but they’re a bit limiting, as are photos really, but that seems less pointless.
My sex drive has gone for a burton or I’d maybe upload vids of me rubbing my clitoris to oblivion. But luckily you’re all spared that. For now  |

Most of my vids are just me singing/playing guitar so definitely very similar but a few are playing of a different kind.
I think most people have their own go to content they usually show and get stuck in a pattern. |

im new and working my way through getting some pictures, its easier to pose a picture. Videos are only a minute long so you need to crop quite a bit to try and make it make sense. Photos are easier to view. |

It's very interesting that you bring that up and I think what you've said has a lot of merit. I think as a single person, it's harder to come up with unique video ideas but I do think a lot of it is that photos are easier to adjust to your liking as there aren't as many moving parts to try and make look good. |

One of the reasons I asked about the lack of variety is that the advice often given to men is to not have so many dick pics and try and present themselves as more than just their dick.
As I've scrolled through the videos on women and couples profiles there are some very inventive ones but by far the most popular are just very close up videos of the woman playing with herself or using toys and I was curious if they had the same mindset as the men with multiple dick pics or videos of them wanking?
All the replies so far have been valid points and I totally get the difficulties with videos which is why I only have a few. |

I find it tough to compare the two when it comes to men having their cock out and women playing with themselves as it's all about knowing your audience. It's kind of assumed that men enjoy seeing that whereas women don't. |

I think videos take more effort. Like OP said, it's easier to control the quality of a photo, a video has a lot more moving parts (obviously). And also not everyone is a site supporter, and a lot of people just don't want videos of themselves on the internet. |

The answer, for me, is quite simple: I have nothing worth showing through the medium of high definition video. What very little there is worth showing will probably be betrayed by my many bodily imperfections in ghastly angles.
Instead I employ a little necromancy in my stylistic still images. They're of reasonable (and sufficient) quality to get me laid. |

I have a selection of videos, they are all very diffferent.
The most tame are the public ones- though I have a couple of hardcore ones in my private gallery. 😎
I like making videos but often they may not be as spontaneous as taking photos. |

It's pretty unnerving knowing you're loading a vid onto the web for all to see. I have, as was horny and fancied it but haven't since. The reason why I haven't loaded any of any meets is I never thought to record any - I didn't meet for entertainment or want posterity.
I have some pics of some I met regularly but setting up a vid to start shagging would feel wholly unnatural.. I can't imagine watching back 1/2 hr of foreplay

We have done a few videos but tried to make them a bit more different than action videos.
I don’t understand numerous action videos or guys/women wanking as they look samey but it’s other peoples profiles and basically I can just move on if I don’t enjoy viewing them.
