Where in the world is on your “visit list”, the one place more than others you want to go to

For me it’s Route 66 on a Harley

South America. Except I've idea how I'm going to get there, seeing as I'm no longer allowed to fly long-haul. Ideas anyone?

I'd like to travel around Europe spending time in rural and urban locations of every country. Not just a few days or a week but long enough to begin to understand the place. I don't want the main tourist destinations either.

I’d love to do that, but either on a sports bike (gsx-r 600/R6) or a mustamg convertible

Followed by Hawaii

Countries, cities and places.

Loads of places I want to visit/explore in London too.

It was a life long dream destination and it didn't disappoint, I've been to Peru 3 times now. The whole country is awesome.

Some good street food there, but if you like food halls, the Petronas towers has a couple of floor dedicated to food.

I liked the national museum and the national mosque also the central bird park - but it must be 24 years since I went and before that I think it was around 50 years ago!

The entire west coast of Canada, north and South America. Mostly by train, some by car, taking a few months to stop and stay everywhere I want to. That’s my retirement plan

"The Inca trail to Machu Picchu, in Peru."

I did that in my twenties - but the Sandero Luminoso (Shining Path guerrillas) were still active then - train from Cuzco to kilometre 82 and then you walk (with guides) for a couple of days - you will want to acclimatise to the altitude.

"Vietnam is the top of my list "

I preferred Vietnam to Cambodia (and I lived in Cambodia for three years). Loved the Vietnamese people and there was a real difference between those in the south and those in the north - but that was 30 years ago (and clearly was closer to the Vietnam War years and return of boat people and refugees from the various camps).

I would happily go back there.
