Guys, you know how #notallwomen complain on the forum about #notallmen not knowing how to send a first message? making no effort, or that the messages are rude or inappropriate? What if I told you that #notallwomen take a very similar approach when first messaging 👀...
So for your entertainment only (and this is just a bit of banter ladies - please no trigger reflex 🙏) I have copy pasted some of the first messages I have received from some of the women on fab and created this amazing compilation 😁...

People are bad at sending first messages for the most part, it's not the sole domain of one gender.
I think women receive a greater volume because they receive, for the most part, a greater amount of messages.
I don't mind... a few words of a first message. It's not the easiest balance to strike and starting communication is the first big step. |

I believe what he is proposing is that only women should be allowed to send first message, and than men can reply and send messages...so basically men can only engage in messaging with a woman once they have received a first message from that woman...I think 🤔 |

I'm not sure that would address the OP's issue as I've had opening messages there of "Hi" and " ".
I've also had a woman pull out of a meeting 2hrs before and then ghost me, another get stroppy when I suggested meeting IRL and one seemed unhappy (remember this was Bumble not Fab) that I HADN'T turned the conversation to sex.
As has been said, it's not about gender. People are just crap at social interaction, and online makes it worse. |
