I received my first wasp sting at the age of 6/7. Back of the knee in the school playground.
I got another hit on the neck in my twenties, and a bee sting to the thumb in my 30s.
The bee sting was much more painful and then my thumb went numb.

I got to 40 before I had my first one as I was trying to get the little b@stard away from my daughter. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would but still have a phobia about the little buggers.
PS, I haven't hardly seen any so far this year. |

Yes, I concur, bees sting worse than wasps. I’ve had 3 or 4 wasp stings. They’re not nearly as bad as a bee sting. Plus, a bee sting leaves a barb and a sack of poison. If you try to remove it in the wrong direction, you make it worse. |
