I wish I knew how abhorrent some of the behaviour is on here. I still constantly sit aghast at some of the stories I hear from people I chat with. I worry that one day I will say awww that’s fab for you - not be horrified. |

That the Forum's were fun and many of the people on here are highly entertaining (others are as annoying as my EBT, complete dickheads, but as with my EBT I can find them humorous). Having initially joined Fab around 2013 I did not discover/understand the Lounge until around 2019 and now it is what brings me back after each UNLOS break. |

The realisation that all I thought in my life to be true, was in fact a lie. The social masks people wear annd a new view on an inauthentic society, that doesn’t embrace the truth; which is we have all been living a lie (in a Morpheus voice). Here you learn the truth about society and people.
The things I have learned both good & bad about trust, honesty, dishonesty, disingenuousness, the crazy bewitching power of people, the alluring nature of validation, confidence, growth, sadness, rejection, overcoming change, power of finding motivation, stoicism and moving on.
Only now, am I truly learning. The true impact this whole journey on FAB has had on my life.
When I leave - will I be back because I need validation? Maybe, maybe not.

I make new profiles and accounts block me before I have even come back to the forums to see their account.

I have enjoyed the journey to be honest. I’ve only had 2 bad experiences - that’s on me.
I wish I’d have known some things about me earlier… but fab has taught me some of those.

Nothing really. I joined with my eyes firmly open and my thick skin already in place. Nothing surprises me… or very little anyway. And I don’t get offended by the majority of it. Laughter at stupid idiotic behaviour is always good by me 👍🏻 |
