It's a really difficult one. Some countries have divided, changed etc. so would you be returning them to where they came from?
The whole repatriation of stolen goods leads into the reparations for strip countries of their wealth during imperialist phases in history.
My gut says yes but then I enjoy visiting the Elgin Marbles at the British Museum. |
