OP, to be honest depends on how young you are. I myself am slightly older than most so younger members (don't read it that way) haven't got a clue as to what a mare of a day is. To be honest my day has been absolutely a FUBAR of a day.

I would say 'mare of a day', but not sure one is worse than the other!

I have no idea if that's the old person's version or not...but I'm definitely not young anymore!

Appreciate responses...apologies it was quickly typed..

If correct the varying degrees of a bad day..could be as follows

A bad day

A really really bad day = a shit day

A really really shit day = a mare of a day

A really really mare of a day = a nightmare of a day..

A really really nightmare of a day = what's the point in breathing..

I’m hoping your friend didn’t have a mare…

They’re literally a mare. Literally. Fact.

Ich glaube, dass einige junge Leute Deutsch sprechen, aber nicht sehr viele.

Ich glaube auch, dass sie lieber Fußball oder Computerspiele spielen würden.

I recently learned that it's no longer taught at our former secondary school! Only French or Spanish now. *Sad trombone for German*

I just googled my school. Mandarin, Japanese, or French.

When I was there it was French, Indonesian, German, or Latin.

I don't think our school does Latin anymore either.

That ain't youth speak. But to answer your question, I have no idea because any youth that said "A mare of a day" will take an unbelievably hard L.

Youth speak is:

skibidi gyatt rizz only in ohio duke dennis did you pray today livvy dunne rizzing up baby gronk sussy imposter pibby glitch in real life sigma alpha omega male grindset andrew tate goon cave freddy fazbear colleen ballinger smurf cat vs strawberry elephant blud dawg shmlawg ishowspeed a whole bunch of turbulence ambatukam

For the people over 35 trying to read that, take this L. ggez

I think that one is where you have a bit of a bad dream, the other is where you get home from work and find there's a horse in your living room shitting on the carpet...
