I adore a good festival, the food, the drink, the music, and the atmosphere.

Which ones do you recommend visiting

I prefer the smaller ones. Been to Wychwood last couple of years. Really well organised and good music and well priced food and drink

Download festival - 3 days of metal music, dodgy food and lots of alcohol!

Glastonbury - various days depending on where you are camping, all kinds of music, dodgy food and... yep lots of alcohol!

Fantasy Forest is a good one - a wide range of music styles plus daleks, pirates, Knights, jedis, fairies, demons, Steampunks - all manner of sci-fi/ cosplay etc.

Depends what style of festival you like. Shrewsbury have a festival this coming weekend which is always packed and good fun though a bit niche

Victorious, it's on next weekend. Great because it's a small area and there's something for all the family.

If you go on their website the week it finishes, get an application form, can volunteer the whole thing an only work a few hours a day (I did it for a couple of years)

The big festivals are a nightmare these days..Glastonbury, Download , Reading/Leeds .too many people for me as I get older ...but they get the best hands (supposedly) .

There are plenty of festivals of 15,000 / 20,000 capacity pretty much every weekend in the UK.

Depends on what genre you like as well ...

It really is a great festival, remind me of reading back in the day.
