Did you get comics as you grew up or do you still get them?

I used to get the Beano and the Dandy and then Tiger and Roy of the Rovers when I was older

Never got in to Dan Dare

I got into Dogwitch, Lenore, Nny and Preacher as a teenager.

East Sussex

We sometimes got Treasure and Sunny Smiles and when I was a little older June and Schoolfriend. Once I earned my own money I bought Jackie every week.

Our neighbours had Beano and Dandy which they passed over to us when they'd finished with them. We infinitely preferred them to the relics of the 1940s my mum used to allow us to have

I got into my love of Marvel and comics in general thanks to an older male cousin who’d give them to me after he’d read them. I still have them and a collection of his 2000 AD and Judge Dredd comics.

I had some early Marvel & DC comucs but only collected when I was introduced to "2000AD" and "Watchmen". I have collected ever since in an eclectic fashion. I tend not to buy straightforward superhero stuff.

I am hugely fan of Garth Ennis. I am also into Brubaker and Phillips' crime noir/fantasy work.

I also like Stjepen Sejic particularly the sword and sorcery epic "Ravine" but love his BDSM series "Sunstone". From the same universe as "Sunstone" is "Swing" about a married couples adventure into swinging, which was more realistic than the Channel 4 programme that looked at swinging.

I tend to pick up whatever catches my eye.

I still have the Beano. It's wasted on kids. There's just as many gags in there for adults.

I rarely pick any up, but I quite fancy reading The Power Fantasy. Might wait until it gets a few issues in and then buy it digitally.

Usual Dandy, Beano, Whizzer & Chips whilst growing up, but then started 2000AD from 1977. More recent are graphic novels, not comics.

When young I read the Beano and Dandy. Swapped to Marvel in my teens, I had a complete collection of many of the British ones, sadly my mom through them all away a few years ago.
