After watching the reports on Margaret Thatcher yesterday I realise I know nothing about Irish politics and The Troubles and would like to learn more. Can anyone recommend any books or documentaries please? |

you can read all the books and watch all
the tv programmes but the one thing you'll
never do is get inside peoples minds. its
complicated to an outsider.

If you type 'The Troubles' into that well-known on-line encyclopaedia, you'll find there is a pretty good article/page which gives a good overview of them from their origins right up to date. |
