A fisherman called Richard West, no relation to the John West fish tinning empire, has caught a rare shark off Penzance, made famous by the Pirates of Penzance musical by Ronnie 0'Sullivan. The shark is a actually a Lego shark and thought to be a piece from a container washed into the sea off the Tokyo Express ship in a storm in 1997. Interestingly, a group called Lego Lost at Sea conform over 50,000 sharks were lost in the storm but this is the first one found. It's all over the news

So much information in this post Tom!

I didn’t know the snooker player had a side line in musicals! I’m shook!

That shark is even rarer now it’s been caught.

You make every day a School day Tom 👌

I thought "The Pirates of Penzance" was written by Ronnie's brother Gilbert.

If my memory serves me right there is still a flotilla of ducks circling the oceans from a ship wreck years ago.

The weird things that get lost at sea

Out of interest Tom, how do you know Richard West isn't related to the John West fish tinning empire?
