Have had a lovely social with a couple and so we arranged a meet. The evening before my youngest had an accident and ended up in hospital with concussion so meet cancelled. Rearranged for tomorrow but babysitter has now got to work, hubby got an evening meeting and parents on holiday. I give up ! They are the nicest couple and I feel like a total timewater. It's that damn karma again. Anyone else have luck like this?

When you have kids the unexpected can happen anytime, hopefully they will understand this, good luck

Indeed I had a meet arranged, the date and general local were set, I mailed asking for a time and place. My 'puter died an hour later, took me 2 days to repair. I did send an apology, but not been contacted since. Se la vie.

I'm sure that when you finally get to have fun, you'll all have a great time and a massive smile on your face x

Yup all the time!! I have had to put up with all kinds of abuse! At the end of the day if the people don't understand then they probably aren't worth meeting anyway! Hope it all works out x

The couple I was meeting have been fantastic and have told me not to worry as they have kids and understand that they must be our priority. So meet to be rearranged. I'm a very lucky girl x

could you not of accessed email somewhere else, library, friends, phone etc? I must admit we would probably be cynical about that as an excuse (not saying you made it up though!) as we have had so many timewasters we tend now to stick to clubs for meeting males and sticking with couples we know through parties etc these days. The worst ones are those who just dont turn up then mail you weeks later introducing themselves if we forget to block.
