27 was a good time for me, comparatively. I had no idea what was in store for me 2-3 years later.
I was completely abled and could do more or less whatever I liked, whenever.
Don't wish your life away, it can all change in a moment. |

"I've been working since I was 18 and even before I was 27 I thought "I've still got around 40 years of this bullshit"
By the time you get there it’ll be closer to 50 years."
If I'm lucky, I'll get to enjoy my pension for 6 months before I die |

I was 27 when my dad passed away so not a great age to lose a parent and not a time I’d want to revisit. Certainly not too young to think about retirement, I started my retirement plan at 21 like a good girl but it will be some years yet before I’m pulling along a wheelie shopping bag |

"I have a wheely shopping trolley that I got from IKEA. I've had it a really wheely long time as I'm all about saving the polar bears. Everyone laughs at it but I like it. "

No. Start adding to that pension pot immediately.
No. If it helps you bring your shopping home, do it. Monkeys to anyone who doesn't like it.
Hmmm... 27... it wasn't a bad age. I was still at home, so had enough cash. I'd got a great group of friends, most of whom didn't have kids, so we were able to go out and enjoy ourselves. Fun days. |
