decided on 3 strips of streaky bacon fried until shatteringly crisp, scrambled eggs made with cream and real butter with smoked salmon trimmings in (i'm too tight to buy the posh stuff lol) |

I love smoked streaky bacon fried to a crisp.
I would get them with the rinds on, cut the rinds off at home, save them in the freezer until I have sufficient to get the frying pan out and fry them to a crisp in one go. Excellent with beer and wine etc..
The oil in the pan will be used to make fried bread.
I love bacon!

Every so often a thread comes along and makes me crave things! The last one was Ben's scone thread.... Bacon butties for lunch today!! Smoked with red sauce! |
