Wildly different flavours, or similar ones? Do you ever bother?

Newcastle upon Tyne

We had a bit of shotgun wedding and didn’t even get a cake with tiers. If someone wants to start a go fund me we would be very appreciative.

It depends on the cake and the ganache I’m making really, I like to mix it up a little sometimes and experiment with different flavour combinations

somewhere

First wedding was thrown together in 2 weeks 25 years ago, M&S cakes, I think they were all the same fruit cake flavour (didn't have any of it!)

Second time around we had a mahoosive 2 tier marvel themed cake (didn't even know what it looked like til after the wedding!) I think it was a marble cake and chocolate cake, again I didn't have any of it, we did keep a slice for 6 years in various freezers we've had and finally got rid of it this year, it was looking very sorry for itself 😂

My wedding cake was a bouquet of cupcakes. We kept things very simple.

If I’m making a tiered cake at home I usually try to use complimentary flavours.

Raspberry and white chocolate

Dark chocolate, pistachio and vanilla

That was the last tiered cake I made
