Not an annoying song but everytime 'Please Don't Go' is sung (KC & the Sunshine Band or KWS) my mate used to sing 'Beans on Toast, Beans on Toast' and I can't sing anything else now.

brings to mind joe simpso. who having been dangling in mid air with an already broken leg on a rope in a violent snowstorm mountaineering in the high Andes, was cut loose by his climbing partner simon yates.
He fell in excess of 150 ft onto the base of the frozen glacier below and tumbled a further drop into a cravass where he lies trapped slowly freezing to death.
in a delerious state he can hear "Brown Girl in the Ring" going round and round in his head, hour after hour; where he started to panic thinking "Bloody hell, I'm going to die to Boney M!!".  |
