How do most people maintain and keep smooth?

I ask from a CD point of view. But which do you find best, wet shave, shave with talc or electric shaver?

I need to get a new electric shaver. I wet shave but go a couple of weeks before shave next time

Oh I'm interested in too - i like to wax, but sometimes there isn't enough time in between for waxing... I don't like the rash / burn of a razor so I use veet cream, but it stinks and it has an impact on my body pH
