Found out this afternoon my neighbours cat who I loved, he use to jump thru my living room window when it was open and come and sit in my living Room with me, has been run over and died no1 told my neighbour til this afternoon, the person who ran him over was in tears and has even taken the cat with her to bury him, its so upsetting, even tho me and my neighbour don't get on much but I feel for him, that cat was loved so much by him we been trying all evening to find the lady who ran over him so we could have the cat to bury back here but no luck really hoping its not my neighbours cat so there are other cats just like him but everyone who have described the cat sounds like this one so fingers crossed its not this one r.i.p dude x

That's what all the street are saying, she felt guilty she so took him to bury him cus she didn't want to leave him there because he was in a very bad way and then other cars drive over him that's why she took him, but someone in the street cleaned all the blood up. x

Mmmm! I was thinking the same too! Something doesn't add up!

If I happened to run over a cat, I'd do what I'd expect others to do; call the Police, RSPCA, or at least, if possible to do so safely, get it to a vet who can then deal with it in a professional way|!

The police or council can't do nowt when you hit a cat, if it was a dog they would x

cats are feral and there is nothing you can do about them .. I would guess the driver was either trying to remove it from the road so as to avoid causing accident or injury to other drivers
