I'll go first
Maudie.
True story about a Canadian artist.
There's a heartbreaking scene in that film that cracked me. Although most of it is very sad anyway. |

I was at a low point myself when I watched James Bond No Time to Die. They killed off Felix and then Bond sacrificed himself at the end.
Avengers End game when Captain America went back and stayed in the past to spend his life with Peggy Carter. |

The Silent Child (2017) - a friend was involved with its production so was invited/encouraged to see it, especially as it went on to win the Oscar for best short film.
Anyone who says this film didn't make them blub is lying. |

Films
Wreck it Ralf - when he's diving towards the volcano and is reciting the "Bad Guys" serenity prayer
Monsters Inc - the last "Boo?" (For clarification the first time I watched it I misunderstood what Mike said and thought the door would only be able to work once. However my new understanding is years have passed so Boo has grown up and this will be the last visit as soon she won't believe in Monsters in the closet |

Didn’t expect to have dust in my eyes so early in a movie… :’(
This! It makes me ugly cry every time. 😭
J"
I know right, it’s like [sniff] they are so in love [sniff] and they are saving and everything [sob] and they are getting older…. And then she dies and then he’s alone… [waaaah] |

Boy in the striped pyjamas - read the book and saw the film, both once as it’s too upsetting to go through that again.
Cinema Paradiso - to lose someone who’s guided you through life and then leaves you a beautiful gift, bloody wet eyes every time I watch that film. |

Feck sake .....2 hours of bawling my eyes out

Marley and me.
My cat had died a few days before I saw the film for the first time.
I blubbed because it was still very raw. Perhaps not the best film to see at the time but it was on TV so watched it.
I avoid it now as I know what it will do to me even years later. |

"Charlottes Web "
The animated version from the 70s?
If so yes, that hits hard. I remember it being the first time I sort of had the concept of death and loss explained very deeply when I was a kid.
Still find it moving. |

I am legend. One of the amnityville remakes. An episode of Friday night dinner. Anything where a doggo meets a sad end. Hits me right in the heart strings
Cried watching endgame. The bit when Natasha and Clint fight to sacrifice them self. Every other part of that movie was fine dunno why I cried at that but lol |

"Marvellous. Extremely moving and also funny "
Absolutely this. When I am low and having trouble I go Marvellous. The fact that there are people like Neil in the world gives me hope.
Neil is just amazing. |

"My wedding video. It's like watching titanic kinda hoping the ship don't sink but ye know it's coming "
I watch my wedding video backwards. Starts with her giving me a ring, walking backwards down the isle, slides her ass into a limousine and fucks off out of my life |

A star is born.
Took myself off to a nice open air cinema, night to myself, thinking I was going to watch a nice happy easy watching film. I felt traumatised! I’ve never cried watching a film before, not sure if it’s because I wasn’t expecting it to end the way it did, but yeah, that one got me! |

The only one I've ever cried at years ago was weirdly Casper the Friendly Ghost.
His mum was dead and living with other family he hated. I could relate to that as a child. He then gave up having her in his life again (post resurrection) for a friend so she could get her dad back.
