Twixt Purgatory & Palookaville

Solid choices sir but no "only fools"? Glaring omission surely. I'd probably have to go something like...

1.OFAH

2.Blackadder

3.The Young Ones

4.The Inbetweeners

5.Red Dwarf

Some decent new ones around though and no doubt a few classics I've forgotten.

Yes, night security guards in an office building. Very funny and well crafted.

There was also a series called "Sorry!" with Ronnie Corbett that was really good.

For me the first two were the best, and worked as a pair. Then series 3&4 worled as a pair, but were quite different in tone to the first two. Thats where it ends for me. The later series were just not entertaining, and rehashed old ideas. They also forgot they were on a Minining ship, trying to reach earth.

The worst thing about Red Dwarf though, is that I may well be Rimmer

The Thick of It, because Malcolm Tucker’s sweary monologues are brilliant.

Drop The Dead Donkey, a great idea, superbly written.

The Detectives, Jasper Carrott is excellent and Robert Powell plays it beautifully straight.

Blackadder because when it was on TV the buzz in school the following day talking about it was amazing.

Green Wing is utterly bonkers and the characters are a joy.

Glad to see you have come to terms with been a rimmer.

Yer the 1st 2 series had some really good interesting sci-fi episodes like To the memory of the memory of Lisa Yates. Or the time travel one where future lister is married to yachanski.

It’s was a slob his dead room mate and a cat with holly. Then came kriten and it lost the plot of been steptoe and son in space. Then they did parody’s and became more colourful. Don’t get me wrong they had occasional good episodes in the next few series then the writers split and we don’t need talk about the rest.

It was missed by a lot of people might have to track them down on line.
