I find that keeping cool at night depends on what you do during the day. If you've kept the windows and blinds closed in your bedroom, you can open your window at night to allow the cool air in to circulate with a floor fan

I’m doing fine. Joe has right.

Keep the curtains closed. Cotton sheets and sleep naked on top of them. 👍🏻

Ice in front of the fan

Cotton sheet instead of a quilt

Leave the bedroom door open to create an air flow

I’ve been sleeping naked on top of the sheets with my fan on full blast.

The curtains are kept shut during the day to help keep the sun out

Manchester (she/her)

Take a warm shower half an hour before bed. Your body will work to expel the heat, leaving you cooler when you get into bed

Make sure loft insulation up to scratch also room will be a lot cooler with adequate insulation.

A few tactics used in past

Stand outside just in boxers for 10 mins before going to bed

Wet towel on bed much to the exes anger

Sometimes saying fuck it and sleeping on a sun lounger in the garage

I have a small USB fan that's on all night. Not only does it keep me cool but it also stops the nozzles from being able to land and bite me!

Can I just say shut the front door!

Its summer and we have warm weather for an albeit a short time ( probably ).

Enjoy the sun and the warmth go and have a beer in the pubs garden. Take the dog for a walk embrace the season of long days and short nights.

Mother Earth has started her journey to face away from the sun. Just enjoy it and we’ll you know!

Just checked and the thermometer in the bedroom reads 23° and that's with the window and curtains been closed until this evening.

I can't sleep with a fan on because of the noise and can't have my window open overnight as I will be woken up by the seagulls at 4 in the morning.

I hate the summer, looking forward to winter.

Yes really it's 22° in the sitting room.

As soon as it gets over 18° it's to hot for me.

Central

Create air flow if possible, through different ends of your home at night.

Cotton bed linen only.

Cold bath, or gradually cool it, by adding more cold. Repeat at night, if too hot.

Running water over your wrists can cool you too. As can water evaporating from your skin, such as forehead.
