Perhaps the most underrated, under-utilised feature of the site in my opinion.
Do you use the notes function on the fab tab?
I do and make constant additions to it. The majority of people I've been interested in will have comments in there, some hilarious!

We use them for notes about profiles where we have found out a reason not to contact them again. For example a note might say ‘only looking for girl/girl’ or ‘lots of social meets but never seem to play’. A quick reminder in case we come across a profile again in six months and forget why we don’t meet them. |

I use them to make a note of statuses or forum posts that I find offensive or turn my stomach. Also when I block, I add why. And if someone isn’t for me, I make a note so that if they get in touch a while later, I remember why it was a no before. Also anyone who barebacks or is attached. |

I don’t use it, but more because the circle of people I chat to is small.
I know it’s against forum rules to talk about private messages, but notes like this must be fair game. Excluding the names (especially if it’s my name, you fucker) what do you write? |

Yes, usually a note about their knobbishness, but not exclusively so.
Especially if they've had a particularly unpleasant rant on a thread or weird DM.

It's great.
I use it to remind me of the reasons why someone isn't suitable to meet just so I don't waste their time and mine. It's a good tool. Most of the reasons are pretty basic, such as they only glam up in their own bedroom (no point asking them on a night out), only can come out on a Wednesday afternoon, only work in the area during weekdays and aren't free any other time, etc |

We use them a lot.
Always great when we’ve said no to someone and they’ve been funny or said something strange, which we note and they message again, like they’ve never chatted to us! Reminding them of that is usually the conversation killer 😂
We’ve had 2 gents in the last two days who we chatted to for quite a bit and then they just disappeared who have reappeared and acted like we’ve never spoken.
I have a fantastic memory anyway and can recall a lot but notes help us at times, even just to remember a name.
Also as there’s two of us, leaving a note on a profile helps the other know where we are.

Guilty as charged, it's one of the things we miss most when the subscription runs out.
Handy when you come across a someone in the forums that seems interesting, only to click on their profile to find it blocked, then you can't remember why you blocked them. |

We met a lovely lady and it seemed that she used them on us, I only know this as she accidentally sent me them. She clearly got a little confused and messaged me a glowing description of us both detailing where we had met her and what we got up to. I asked her if she meant for the message to be her notes on us and she quite sweetly replied she did and was quite embarrassed as a result. But the "notes" were very complimentary xx |

Only recently started ours it's a great way for us to remember things like if we have already messaged them or met them their real names etc.
we don't use it as a negative thing we just meet so many people it can be hard to remember where and when lol.. |

I suppose that makes sense if you have a busier inbox and have contact, even if fleeting, with many more profiles.

I’ve never used them, can see that they might be useful, but I just use hotlist and blocklist. Hotlist for people I like the look of, block if I message and they delete or say no thanks, no point in them staying visible on my fab. There is already enough clutter on the site to wade through |

I would think many would make note if the person was attached or a bareback, especially if it's something that constitutes a no for us. |

Our fab notes are usually to remind us if we've declined to meet or if someone talked about meeting but didn't follow up on it. We also note if someone is unkind or holds views we wouldn't find it easy to accept in person |
