Or are they separate???

Please say no

Transsexual Transylvania

I'll go with Dead Can Dance

They're a band, not a genre, but they don't really fit into any specific genre. They've been called folk, neo-classical, goth, world music, ambient, ethereal, medieval..

I have all their albums, and I never get tired of them.

Eddie Vedder & Chris Cornell literally wrote the words for my life.

It has to be Grunge or whatever they are now (alt rock?)

Back in the late 80s and early 90s I went through a phase when I was listening to Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Sinatra and the like.

My mates were into the Smiths, Twisted Sister and their ilk. I maintained that as I was the only one listening to what I was, by definition I was the alternative one.

Ahhh, I'm glad you enjoy them, even in small doses.

I like to immerse myself in them for hours on end.

Well if you just list punk..way I see it that covers a lot of bases.. you couldn't have death metal..but you could have punk metal.. you can have your pop punk as well..anarcho punk.. hardcore... garage punk..the list is endless..

Can't pick a single one. It's impossible.

If you'd said, which style could you listen to for the longest single period of time, then blues. It covers so many different styles and artists, but just one style.....

Nah.... impossible.
