"Watched Deadpool yesterday, it was a good cinema film.
We need more of that rather than all these politically correct super heroes films."
Superheroes have always been political, that hasn’t changed |

I’m really confused on this one, is it set in the same reality as iron man? Is he playing the same person, were they supposed to have split twins at birth ? So many questions and can’t help feeling it would be better to start afresh.
I’ll do my best to go it a fair go but it’s going to be difficult I think |

Personally I think the Marvel films lost the plot when Disney bought the franchise. Too many offshoots, plots milked so much until all that's left is cheese. They now bear little or no connection to the original comic book storylines and character lives.
Same happened when Disney took over the Star Wars franchise. It's all about money spinning offshoots than developing the original stories.

There's actually a fair amount of precedent in the comics for Tony Stark becoming Doctor Doom or a very close facsimile. Among others, in "What If? Iron Man: Demon in an Armor #1", Victor von Doom does a mind swap with Tony. |

I kind of lost interest after End Game. I couldn't be arsed keeping up with the spin-offs and TV shows and think it definitely jumped the shark. But y'know, money! |

They seem to have taken the feedback there on board and have really dialled back the plans, pledging to do fewer releases a year and focusing on quality. |

It is a multi verse so it is possible to bring back Tony Stark, I believe they are following a comic story, so the info is out there.
I haven't paid to see a marvel film since endgame which I rewatched only Sunday.
Blade is in production hell which shows the issues Mariel are having around DEI, I think the only disney+ show I liked was Hawkeye.
Lets hope marvel get back on track. |

I thought the Loki series were awesome. Both of them.
Wasn’t too fussed on the other series really. Moon knight was great up until the final episode which was pants.
After end game, Spider-Man no way home was also one of my favourite films I’ve ever seen, ever. But then I’m a sucker for nostalgia. They got that done right.
But going back to the original post, yes RDJ as Dr doom, great idea.
My theory is a Tony Stark variant turns bad, and becomes Dr doom. |

I think it's a pretty awesome direction to go in, myself. It would be really difficult to ramp up a villain given what Thanos's power level was, but the Avengers are gonna have a *really* hard time fighting a big bad with the face of a former hero among them. |

Marvel should just stick to two movies a year maximum and dial back the TV stuff.
As others said, when it all feels like homework to wade through, and not particularly interesting homework too, people (including me) drift away.
Life is too short. |

That is pretty much exactly the plan going forward. |
