Ok…. Maybe not a thing or maybe it is and completely oblivious.
When you’re in a bar/ restaurant and you see a couple you think might favour the upside down tropical fruit. The signal should be you turn the menu on the table upside down and smile!

Never quite understand signals - like an upside down pineapple on doors on cruises.
So anyone can knock and you’ll be open for playing? 🤷🏻♂️
Same with the menu - so you like someone, you turn it upside down then someone out the blue just turns up at your table…you are meant to start chatting?
I think in clubs or organised socials it could help people if people had different colour bands for preferences and/or open to chatting etc but I don’t think it works elsewhere.
