I have probably the most unusual DMs about anything but sex more often than not.
Today, in weird conversations in my DMs, some weirdo inadvertently shared the name of a plant with me. I didnāt know what it looked like so I searched for a photo. I then discovered, this weirdo was on about a plant Iāve been trying to find the name of for more than thirty years. 32 years to be exact. I spent the next thirty minutes searching all about this plant to be certain it is in fact the plant Iāve been looking for. This is the latest reason Iāve smiled today, and itās only 8:36 AM where Iām at. |

Reviewed a patient this morning who was crippled with back and leg pain whom I referred for a surgical opinion 2 months earlier.
We also tried some conservative treatment to which he responded very favourably. Symptoms were 80% better. Made me smile as he's a lovely gentleman who cares for his wife and was really struggling š |

What's made me smile recently?
Those who are close to me, their happiness. A well deserved holiday, a promotion, finding love, one rediscovering her libido and her self, seeing another realise they do *actually* like someone. A house completion. A dream job secured.
And my own? It's been so many things lately.
Finally being able to walk in heels again. Treating myself to said heels. A free iced latte from the cute barista who gives the most wholesome compliments. It soon being August; hot girl Saltburn summer. A date that I'm ridiculously excited about but pretending I'm nonchalant. Ordering a Halloween candle because soon it's the season of the witch. Long meandering walks in the sunshine with gelato. Messages that have my face doing this and I don't hate it. Size 24 knickers falling down on me and realising it's time to get rid of all the clothes in that size. And cuddles. |

I didnāt know the name of it in English. I didnāt know it in Spanish either to be fair. The weirdo mentioned having it in their garden and that sent me to find out it was visually the same plant I have been trying to find the name of. Weird coincidences happened yesterday. It was my favourite plant as a child.

She spoke for him for too long but she then did immediately call the bank and then me.
Iām smiling because sheās dealt with it and this time sheās beaten the scammer. |

It was interesting and really happy I was a part of it. A few similarities in terms of how the day progresses but as I had only seen English wedding on TV, I was thoroughly disappointed that a jilted ex didn't turn up to ruin it  |
