I used to have an Abu Cardinal 54, it was a beautiful reel and a red Ambassador 6000 for beach fishing.

Currently using a very old Mitchell 301a and it’s still as smooth as anything.
Anyway I’ll stop carping on about reels, this is also the plaice for fishy puns.  |
