I read an interesting article about how one can have a happier life, there are many tips for it like, avoid to much news, do something meaningful, here are my my 5 tips:
1: Take care of the body
2. Get sleep to have energy for the day
3. Exercise
4. Family and friends
5. Less screen time
As you can see from my tips, a lot of it is exercise oriented, because you feel good when you exercise a lot and it also releases endorphins.
It would be interesting to see what tips you have, do you agree with mine, which ones would you add? |

And yet every bit of social media drives Comparisons - including this site. Smart phones and the internet will destroy us with constant erosion of our happiness and contentment. It is providing an otherwise unknown level of representation and an unassailable platform for idiots, narcissists and scoundrels. |

"
And get your perspective right - 50 isn’t ‘middle aged’ 38 is. "
Such wisdom. I've always said 40 to be kind to the middle aged folk who make up the majority of the forums, going to start saying 38 now. |

We just don’t like the reality of our lifespans do we?.. we try to fool ourselves for comfort and by the time we realise the reality of our situation we don’t have enough time or health left. Don’t buy things… buy experiences. |

"I already can. Wait. Maybe I'm middle aged before my time. Sad times.
Most of my ex-girlfriends have been middle aged on the inside, despite being in their 20s."

"You have no control on what people think of you...so dont worry about it x"
I'd argue that you have lots of influence on what good people think of you, so treat them well and increase your chance of them returning the favour |

"Remember that opinions are like arseholes-everyone’s got one! It doesn’t necessarily make them right.
But some of us check our arseholes regularly and adjust them accordingly. "
Most however don’t, and aren’t scared of waving them about in your face, whether or not you want it!
Or was that just what happened the last time I went to a club?! |

Don't buy things you don't need.
Don't get into debt easily.
Do not lend money to anyone as you work hard for it.
Do not tell friends or colleagues you're plans.
If you have a good idea keep it to yourself.
Value yourself above all others.
