Channel 4 have this weird way of making anything sexual that normal people do seem tawdry and depressing, while anything that’s a niche which younger middle class people do seems edgy and hip.

I’d rather be in that hot tub with the gorgeous swingers that parading my bits on naked dating shows.

Libs looked empty on a party night so I'm guessing most of the club users voted with their feet that night to avoid the filming...

The voice over made it all a bit carry on...

It's very much not. As everyone depicted in it had to consent, it was all staged, it wasn't filmed on the actual night. Also, the producers wanted something that would catch viewers attention hence it's mostly "pretty people" there. However, I have to admit I fell for the "publicity stunt" and did go to visit Libs with my partner, sadly it was when some COVID restrictions were still in place. Their accommodation is lush!

We watched it a few years ago that’s what got us interested so decided to try the lifestyle out so checked swinging clubs and rang libs but not knowing it was the one we watched lol until I heard John thee owners voice

I realised it was there haha

So ended up going and are regulars there now

It’s our happy place

even thow the documentary was staged

It is definitely a few years old, the rooms are a lot more expensive than the £60 quoted now, but they are nice rooms.

I’ve seen it before, but good to see it again, having been to LE a few times now and recognise the places in the film. I also recognised a couple of the staff members who are still there - no names!
