Oh my day's I've just taken the biggest step in my life and just come out about my built emotions and how I've been feeling since an early age to my family and I was not expecting there response to be mum you can fund it for yourself which I was intending to do and my dad who's old Irish and set in his way all he could say is there's a club in Milton Keynes I mean WTF I was expecting world war 3 and 4 to say this is the happiest day of my life is and understatement

It's a huge step, but hopefully things will feel better now you're no longer hiding.

I remember my daughter telling me, what you have to remember is you are their child, and they want you to be happy in life. (Sadly not everyone gets this, it's brilliant you have!)

My friends (adult) child is currently taking the first (physical) steps towards transitioning

How wonderful, that going forward, he can do so with the full love and support of his family

Your parents sound very pragmatic

This could well be a godsend going forward
