I might have a problem, there might be someone at my work with some files that reveal I'm a total slut, I'm afraid he might let people know and could cause me to lose my job, I'd rather he come to me and we can sort an "arrangement" out for him to give me the flashdrive, has anyone else had this issue x |

Thanks for the comment i'm hoping he does, I misplaced a flashdrive with some porn, loads of pics/vids of me dressed being filthy and it also had some other files on that confirm the drive is mine, if they look at it and put 2and2 together I hope they come to me. |

I know no one wants to be the subject of malicious gossip but if people gossip then allow their tiny minds to do so...

I know but it was in my bag from the night before, I keep my work and life as separate as I can, there is a no porn policy at work, gross misconduct, but just having it on a drive cant hurt |

It's either bollocks or you 'misplaced' it on purpose, because there is absolutely no other reason to take it to work as I'm sure you know that you can't attach a non-encrypted USB to your Work computer with out prior consent, and no one in their right mid would do so with that type of material on it
If if it true, and you get sacked, it has nothing to do with it being you, or you being outed. You've brought pornographic material into work on a mass storage device. It's just foolish. |

I don’t know whether I’m right or wrong here, but I think if you have that kind of content, I think you should save it in a cloud service as you can access that anywhere you are and download just what you need, memory sticks are just so easy to lose or misplace and if your life story is on there, it’s on there for everyone to see unless right protected |

I didnt mean to take the bloody thing to work,
I dont know who has it or weather it's not been found,
It hasn't been taken out of my bag,

On a related note, any Android users who has the Google Photos app installed, should disable or uninstall it immediately if you care about your privacy.
It automatically uploads anything in your to gallery to some kind of Drive account/cloud storage you never knowingly set up, and you have to opt out of it, rather than opt in. |

If he approaches you, and if there is the opportunity to have your phone taping any conversation that may occur, you can then tell him that you are going to report him for extortion (apparentlyI can't use the other word on here). He may weigh up the pros and cons of you losing your job, cash reward, or him having a police record. |

If I've got the gist right.
Say you do get sacked due to your lifestyle, so long as the employer can't prove it impacts your work then you could take them to a tribunal. Also should the person that is now in possession of the dongle release the images then they could also face criminal charges. |

I have been outed, not at work but an ex partner did tell a few friends and family about my dressing and ‘perverted lifestyle’ so I had a choice deny or admit.
I decided to admit I liked to crossdress fully and go out to clubs with others like me and those who like crossdressers. To be honest the blow back wasn’t too bad a few guys didn’t contact me anymore, too bad, but in general it wasn’t a massive issue.
But it was a few years ago and with all of the Trans and Drag Queen controversy from certain groups I’d hate to be outed today.
My advice prepare in advance if you are outed and hope for the best it never comes out.  |

I would just like to apologize for the above comment, referring to a PM I got regarding this thread.
I didn't read it properly at first, and as it turned out you weren't explicitly agreeing with the idea that OP was a fantasist. So I apologize for that.
You have done this to me on a number of occasions before, where you message me just to tell me you disagreed with something I wrote, & my knee jerk reaction when i saw you in my inbox was "fuck sake, you again?" and wrote the above rant before really reading the message. On this occasion though I was wrong.
However in future...
I don't really want to be PMd with your (or the person controlling your account) takes on forum discussions, if for whatever reason you can't write it in the discussion itself.
I don't care which participant you think has the right or wrong opinion, or any of that stuff. My message box is primarily for talking with people who know me, or wish to get to know me, for recreational purposes.
It's things like this why some people believe there is a forum clique.
Please refrain from sending me those kind of messages going forward 🙏🏽 |

Thank you to all who have helped with advice and some ideas on how to handle the situation if it arises, my best hope is that I find it or it's been binned by a cleaner, if someone has it and hands it in ok, I've told my supers that I've lost a flashdrive and hopefully il get it back, also I wasnt expecting to be told I was a fantasist I'm just worried.

That would come under the revenge porn act, inform them that if it's not returned police action will be sought. Unfortunately anyone who has this sort of content online, is vulnerable to being outed. |
